OUR INSTALATIONS IN SPARTA AND TRIPOLI
There are two units :
One OLIVE-OIL PRODUCTION UNIT (760 acres )
and one EDIBLE OLIVE PROCESSING AND PACKAGING UNIT (2.800 acres).
Olive maturation take place in large maturation tanks. Each tank has a capacity of 12 m3 and 7 tons of olive.The production line is centrifugal type and has capacity of 5 tons of olives per hour.
PROCESSING AND PACKAGING OLIVES in whole, sliced, pitted and paste.
QUALITY CONTROL AND PACKAGING in all the stages of production.
For the needs of the units there are two Waste Water Treatment Units.
The olive-oil is stored in tanks till is transported to the packaging unit.The Olive-Oil processing unit is located in Industrial Area of Tripolis.
The quality of ALEA’s products is secured from the first step, with the carefull choice of the row material, the olive fruit that is, which is hand picked from the tree by the co-operated producers, mainly from Peloponnese
In order to protect the high quality, the olive-oil is forwarded to the ALEA installation, immediately after the procession. There it’s being controlled in the unit’s lab and then a sample of olive-oil sent to Public Chemical lab for control.The Production and Quality Control Managers keep the most severe specifications In all all stages, till the packaging and storage of the products.
The production process, the products, and the management of quality and safety of products is checked and certified by: ISO 22000

OLIVE-OIL PROCESSING UNIT located in South Peloponnese in Tripoli surrounded by Olive Trees, famous for the high quality Olives since the ancient times.Fossils of olive trees over 50.000 years old brought to light, through archaeological research, proclaiming Greece as motherland of olive tree.
Homer, the great Greek poet, referred to the oil as “liquid gold”. He stressed the value of oil as food for the Greeks, as well as the good quality of the Greek olive oil.
In Greece, with a lot of sunny days, normal climate conditions, very friendly ground and long tradition in olive farming, some very famous varieties of olives thrived for many years.
Greece holds the third position worldwide in the olive oil production (around 16%) and the second position in the olive production (around 72%).
The 80% of the Greek production of olive oil belongs to the category “Extra Virgin”.
